Thurlbear pond
Thurlbear pond is one of the club's newest venues and is proving very popular with both the senior and junior anglers. The pond is very well stocked with Carp, Roach, bream and even orfe it is the ideal venue for the pleasure angler amongst you.
There is ample car parking at this venue with an enclosed car park.....please remember to close all gates behind you and take your litter home with you.
Junior members should be accompanied by an adult at this venue due to the depth of water.
The pond is situated at the foot of the blackdown hills on the Staple Fitzpaine road.
All T.A.A rules relating to stillwaters apply at this venue...Anglers must only park in the designated car park. All gates MUST be kept closed. Dogs are strictly forbidden on this water...It is advisable that junior members (under 12s) are accompanied by an adult whilst fishing at this venue.
