Warning overhead power lines can kill!!

All members and period ticket holders are hereby duly warned that there are power lines crossing the following waters controlled by the Association: The Taunton and Bridgwater Canal.
The West Sedgemoor drain at Stathe.
The River Tone. It is vitally important to note that an angler can be electrocuted, if his/her rod tip is within two rod lengths of a power line! It is therefore your responsibility and in the interests of your own safety to be fully aware that fishing is strictly prohibited within 30 metres of any such hazard.Any member breaking this rule will automatically forfeit their licence. On all water's affected by overhead power lines, It is strongly recommended that all anglers under the age of sixteen years should be accomanied by an adult.

The Association will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained whilst on club waters. For your own safety please take every care. Any angler fishing any Taunton Angling Association waters must be in possession of a valid Environment agency licence.
