OVERHEAD POWER LINES CAN KILL
All members and period ticket holders are hereby duly warned that there are power lines crossing the following waters controlled by the Association:
Taunton and Bridgwater Canal
The West Sedgemoor Drain At Stathe
The River Tone
It is vitally important to note that an angler can be electrocuted, if his/her rod tip is within two rod lengths of a power line!
It is therefore your responsibility and in the interests of your own safety to be fully aware that fishing is strictly prohibited within 30 metres of any such hazard.
Any member breaking this rule will automatically forfeit their licence.
on all waters affected by overhead powerlines it is recommended that all anglers under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
